He will share his experience in developing the first Malaysian NB-IoT Radar based Traffic detection system, SenseRad, from idea to launch.

Faizal Ali is the co-founder and CEO of Vectolabs Sdn Bhd. Vectolabs is a Cyberjaya, Malaysia-based electronics R&D company that makes IoT devices (LoRaWAN, NBIoT, Mesh) with the first IoT product, the smart street light solution, saw its first deployment in November 2018.

Vectolabs was founded in a humble garage in San Diego, California to design Vololights, an advanced deceleration indicator for motorcycles. We raised USD54,000 on Kickstarter in less than 30 days and have sold thousands of units to date. In 2017, we launched the VoloCAN CANBUS accessories controller for BMW and KTM at EICMA in Milan, Italy.

We started operating in Malaysia late-2016 to build an electronics R&D team that we are today. We are backed and supported by the Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) to build more devices in Malaysia and help to grow local talents.
