Visit to Bina Nusantara University (BINUS), Indonesia

JAKARTA, 12 May 2017 — Dr Shankar Karuppayah of National Advanced IPv6 Centre (NAv6) has been a guest of Bina Nusantara University (BINUS) for four days from 8th to 11th of May. While there, he delivered a lecture as guest lecturer for nearly 150 students of Software Engineering course. Dr. Shankar who is the course’s external assessor, presented a three-hours lecture to the students. In addition, Dr Shankar also conducted a seminar session on the topic of “Revisiting Recent Advancements in P2P Botnet Monitoring” to share his knowledge and expertise with lecturers and researchers that are interested in or working on similar research areas. The seminar is part of BINUS Create Sharing Knowledge (CSK) program. He also had a discussion with head of departments within BINUS School of Computer Science on potential MOU and future collaboration between the two institution.
