Visiting Lecturer at Universitas Brawijaya, Indonesia

MALANG, Indonesia, 27 May 2017 — A senior lecturer of National Advanced IPv6 Centre (NAv6), Dr Shankar Karuppayah has been invited as a visiting lecturer at Universitas Brawijaya (Pendidikan Vokasi) from 22nd to 26th  of May. He had delivered a four-day block lecture on Network Security for about 100 students from their faculty. In conjunction with his visit, a separate half-day international seminar on the topic of “Awareness of Internet Security in Digital Era” was also held for a mixed crowd of about 150 students and lectures. As a result of the visit, the university is currently discussing on signing an MOU with USM to establish student internship/exchange programs as well as collaboration on research-related activities.
